Farah Hussain Baig is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over fifteen years of experience in the field of mental health and founded InnerVoice Psychotherapy and Consultation in 2007. In her clinical practice, she enjoys working with individuals and couples to find a deeper understanding of themselves, communicate more effectively, as well as help clients find practical ways to manage life stressors.
Farah’s clinical experience includes areas of community mental health, residential treatment, employee assistance, as well as, conducting research in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Northwestern University. She is proficient in facilitating psycho-educational workshops and providing clinical consultations and has provided these services throughout the state of Illinois. Farah is trained in a number of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).
Farah is frequently asked to speak on mental health related topics and has been interviewed as a clinical expert for various publications and television programs. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Michigan and Master of Social Work degree, with honors, from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
