We are living in historic times, filled with uncertainty. To make things even more difficult, many are homebound and unable to reach out to find someone to talk to about the challenges they are facing. If this sounds like you, we have an answer. Online counseling, also known as teletherapy. It’s safe, convenient and private because your sessions will take place in the comfort of your own home.
Here at InnerVoice Psychotherapy & Consultation we realize that due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus you are most likely dealing with additional stress and anxiety. In addition to any issues unrelated to the Coronavirus that you may be dealing with, there is a great deal of uncertainty and additional challenges brought on by the virus itself.
One of the most drastic changes is social distancing, as right now it is best to stay home whenever possible. As a result, we are isolated and cut off from family and friends, left with few outlets to share our vulnerabilities. This is why we are offering online counseling in Chicago and Skokie. Online counseling can help, whether you are in Chicago, Skokie or anywhere in the surrounding areas.
Teletherapy has been proven to be effective and also has many advantages. Some of these advantages are as follows:
Convenience – You can have the same quality of care as you would in our office, from the comfort of your own home. You never need to worry about commuting, traffic, parking or the possibility of catching someone’s cold. Or worse.
Private – The teletherapy sessions are conducted online in a private, virtual room. Your privacy extends beyond just the sessions, as there’s no chance of running into someone you know on your way to the therapist’s office or in the waiting room.
Secure – The software we use for your online therapy session is approved by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). This legislation ensures data privacy and security for safeguarding medical information, including therapy.
Effectiveness – Numerous studies have concluded that online counseling is as effective as in-person counseling.
So whether you are a current client, or have found us by doing a search such as online counseling Chicago or online counseling Skokie, rest assured that our goal is to provide the best online counseling available. And we are ready to help you start feeling like your old self again.
And best of all, you are just a few clicks away from getting started. Because you don’t need to feel this way. Get started on your road to healing now.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service by contacting info@innervoicepc.com. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
