“A place where therapy can be rewarding for everyone”
—Farah Baig, Clinical Director, Founder & CEO
IVPC boasts a supportive environment where we invest in attuning to the various needs of our clinicians.
WHO ARE WE
OUR VALUES
We value feedback and find every opportunity for our team and clients to have a voice.
We promote continued education for our clinicians through regular trainings in evidence-based practices, which increases the quality of client care in compliance with ethical guidelines.
We promote hiring clinicians of varying backgrounds, beliefs, and specialties to better serve the diverse and unique experience of our clients. It’s also important that our office promotes a foundation of diversity, equity, and inclusivity in its culture and practice.
IVPC is also a social justice informed practice which values and supports organizations that advocate for human and civil rights. These values are infused in the culture and supervision at the practice. We also have a vision to eliminate mental health stigma by creating awareness of, appreciation for, and acceptance of mental health self-care. IVPC lives by values that guide who we are as a team and we hire staff who bring these values to life.
Autonomy and independence are integral in a private practice setting. IVPC trusts therapists to manage their responsibilities with limited oversight. We do our best to maintain a friendly and nurturing environment while encouraging excellence consistent with experience, education, and licensure. As a team, it is also important to connect outside of the office so periodically we will host team events and everyone is encouraged to attend.
Transparency, respect and integrity are also values ingrained into the practice culture at IVPC. It is discussed throughout the interview process and reinforced during employment. If there are any issues related to staff, management, or procedures, team members are encouraged to bring them to the attention of IVPC Management. This extends to any dissatisfaction with the role and responsibilities assigned by IVPC.
