I have always been someone drawn to the ability of growth, change and healing. Through my time in undergraduate, I found excitement guiding and being present with people during personal challenges and helping others ease their emotional burdens. Specifically druing my time as a certified nursing assistant. While working in assisted living, I found myself wanting to understand who the residents were, what strengths and weaknesses and ways of coping.

1. What attracted you to being a psychotherapist?

Questions

My approach is very client centered. I am here to meet you where you are on your healing journey. My hope is to create a supportive, non judgmental environment that will help clients explore their challenges and strengths. Together we can find a path to personal wellbeing.

2. How would you describe your approach with your clients?

“Mental health is not a destination, but a process. It’s about how you drive, not where you’re going” —Noam Shpancer, PhD

3. What's your favorite quote about mental health?

I am most surprised by how individualized and beautiful a client’s journey can be, even though the healing journey is ever-changing and never-ending. My absolute favorite thing as a clinician is hearing the client finally take that deep breath. It’s almost a sign of relief. A relief, that they are being heard, the pain is real, and healing is on the horizon.
