As early as I can remember, I have been fascinated by our brains and why we do what we do. I have spent my education and career asking this question alongside the other core question that guides my work: how can we create environments such that all humans can thrive. Each day I am motivated by continuing to see the power of connection, curiosity, and compassion in helping all of us heal.

1. What attracted you to being a psychotherapist?

Questions

My focus is first and foremost on developing strong relationships that facilitate learning and growth, and in depathologizing challenges within the context of broader systemic challenges. I am flexible, and creative, and will adapt to what a client needs.

2. How would you describe your approach with your clients?

“There is a conversation happening inside you. Pay deep attention to what your inner world is saying.” -Rupi Kaur

3. What's your favorite quote about mental health?

Humans are beautiful. While this isn’t something that has necessarily surprised me, I see it as a great honor to witness this as a psychotherapist. I love helping clients see their own beauty and potential.
